HEALING SALVE - Multipurpose with Essential Oils

Ok I know many of you may not be familiar with the term ‘Salves’ .To get familiar with what is a Salve, it’s purpose and how to make it do check out this article.


I will be telling you how to make a healing salve which is beneficial for treating:


  • Diaper Rash

  • Cuts

  • Eczema

  • Burns

  • Chapped Lips

  • Cracked Heals

  • Cracked Lips

  • Bug Bites

  • Bee Stings

  • Scrapes

  • Minor Cuts

  • Minor Burns


Let’s look the miraculous ingredients used in this salve.


Jojoba Oil: Jojoba I have mentioned earlier this oil is a very beneficial oil for almost all skin types as it resembles our skin oils . It is the closest resembling oil to our sebum. Also a great choice for basic Oil Cleansing method.


Coconut Oil: Coconut oil serves as a great moisturizer, plus some of the fatty acids contained in it, like lauric acid, have antimicrobial effects that can help fight bacterial, viral, and fungal pathogens.


Beeswax: The anti-inflammatory properties of beeswax encourage the healing of wounds. It is also protective, helping form a barrier between the skin and the environment without clogging pores. Further, beeswax is high in vitamin A, which has been found to support cell reconstruction and health.

Tea tree oil Essential Oil: It is definitely a perfect choice for treating acne because of its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It's thought to calm redness, swelling, and inflammation. It may even help to prevent and reduce acne scars, leaving you with smooth, clear skin.


Lavender Essential oil: Lavender essential oil may help to prevent scarring by promoting cell and tissue growth. It has antibiotic, antioxidant, and antiseptic properties. According to a 2016 study , lavender oil demonstrates wound-healing activity and shows potential for use as a natural treatment to help repair damaged skin tissues.


Frankincense Essential Oil: Frankincense essential oil is said to treat dry skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, age spots, scars, and stretch marks.


Roman Chamomile Essential Oil: Promotes wound healing, including ulcers and sores. anxiety relief. Eases skin conditions like eczema or rashes. Anti-inflammation.


Essential Oil Dilution varies according to different age group. For this recipe I have taken the right dilution percentage that is 3% of the total product . It is in the right quantity for skin salves. To know more about the ratios and basic salve Formula click here.
